What's Happening?
The Leesburg Arts Center (LAC) is set to host an inaugural exhibition reception for its new members exhibit on Friday, April 17, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will be held at the historic Tropic Theatre located at 122 W. Main St, Downtown Leesburg.
The theme of the exhibit is 'People, Places & Things,' showcasing a diverse selection of local artistry across multiple media from the Arts Center’s Artist Membership. The exhibit will remain open until July 11, with visiting hours from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m. Following this exhibit, the Summer Camp Exhibit will commence on July 17 in the main gallery. Additionally, 'The Great Tropic Art Heist,' an interactive fundraising event, is scheduled for May 29 and 30, where attendees can enjoy local art while participating in a mystery-solving activity.
