Christian Dior Parfums has announced the extension of its collaboration with Charlize Theron and her organization, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), in celebration of International Women’s Day. This partnership, which began in 2021,
focuses on empowering women and supporting vulnerable communities in South Africa, particularly young women. The collaboration aims to foster autonomy, leadership, and sustainable progress at the community level. Central to this partnership is the Youth Leaders Scholarship Program, which provides scholarships to 20 young people from underprivileged backgrounds, funded in part by Dior. These scholarships cover diverse fields such as education, health sciences, business, and gender advocacy. The initiative also supports local organizations like Philisa Abafazi Bethu, a safe place founded by South African women’s rights activist Lucinda Evans.
