Singer, a boutique restoration shop known for reimagining classic Porsches, has partnered with Cosworth to develop a new 420-horsepower flat-six engine. This engine is designed to improve driveability by broadening the power and torque curves. The engine can
rev to over 8,000 rpm and is paired with an optimized six-speed manual gearbox. While pricing for this new engine has not been disclosed, previous Singer creations have sold for over a million dollars. The collaboration with Cosworth, which began in 2011, has previously produced several variants of the classic air-cooled Porsche flat-six engine.
