Netflix has renewed its collaboration with the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which is taking place from November 20-28 in Goa. The partnership includes a significant presence across various
festival components such as the WAVES Film Bazaar programming and festival showcases. Netflix is co-hosting the market component of IFFI, which features the Knowledge Series, Tech Pavilion, WAVES Film Bazaar, and a story pitching initiative aimed at supporting emerging voices in Indian entertainment. As part of the WAVES Film Bazaar, Netflix is conducting a three-day pitching forum where selected filmmakers and writers can present their projects directly to Netflix's content team. This initiative is designed to provide emerging Indian storytellers with direct access to decision-makers and potential development opportunities. Additionally, Netflix is presenting several festival premieres under the International Showcase section, including Taiwan's Oscar submission 'Left-Handed Girl' and the Hindi language film 'Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders'.
