Doris Lemngole, a junior distance runner for Alabama, won her sixth individual SEC title by claiming gold in the 3000m race at the SEC Track and Field Indoor Championship in College Station, Texas. Lemngole set a new facility record with a time of 8:45.90,
marking consecutive victories in this event and becoming the first athlete in Alabama's program history to achieve this feat. The Alabama women's team finished sixth overall with 58 points. In addition to Lemngole's success, Samuel Ogazi won the 400m race, setting a new school record with a time of 44.72.
