Nara Lokesh, IT & HRD Minister of Andhra Pradesh, announced the state's goal to have 25% of the global aviation workforce comprised of Telugu people. This initiative was highlighted during the launch of the GMR-MANSAS Aviation EduCity in Visakhapatnam. The EduCity aims to address the shortage of skilled aviation professionals by providing education, research, and on-the-job training. The project is a collaboration between the GMR Group and the MANSAS Trust, with the Andhra Pradesh government committed to developing the necessary infrastructure. The EduCity is expected to position India as a leading supplier of aviation talent.
