What's Happening?
Alarice Gooden, a point guard for Hofstra University's women's basketball team, is making strides both on and off the court. Originally from Brampton, Ontario, Gooden has transitioned from a competitive soccer player to a basketball athlete, eventually
choosing Hofstra for its strong communication program. During her time at Hofstra, she has pursued a career in sports broadcasting, joining WRHU 88.7 FM and the Hofstra Entertainment Access Television Network. Gooden has also served as a color analyst for the men's basketball team on MSG Network, balancing her broadcasting aspirations with her responsibilities as a Division I athlete.
