Boone Jenner, captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets, has been recognized for his charitable work through the 'Boone's Buddies' initiative. This program, launched in collaboration with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation, provides families staying at the Ronald
McDonald House with the opportunity to attend Blue Jackets home games. Jenner personally meets with each family, offering support and creating memorable experiences for children receiving care at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His efforts have earned him the title of the Blue Jackets’ 2025-26 Community MVP and nominations for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, highlighting his leadership and humanitarian contributions.
