Meta has announced the establishment of 'America's Workforce Academy' in Louisiana, one of four locations nationwide, to address the shortage of skilled workers for AI data center construction. This no-cost
training program, funded by Meta, offers a 4-5 week bootcamp where participants receive tuition, airfare, lodging, and a daily stipend. Upon successful completion, trainees are guaranteed jobs with Meta's contractor partners. The initiative is part of a $115 million investment by Meta to build a skilled workforce for its AI infrastructure projects.
