The Otis Redding Center for the Arts (ORCA) is celebrating its one-year anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the Otis Redding Foundation. The center, named after the legendary soul musician Otis Redding, offers a variety of music and arts
programs for students aged 5-18. These programs include summer camps, private lessons, and workshops that cover both the creative and business aspects of the music industry. The facility also features the O3 Recording studio and the Zelma Redding Amphitheater. The anniversary was celebrated with an open house attended by Zelma Redding, Otis Redding's widow, and Mike Mills, a recipient of the Otis Redding Spirit of Community Award. The center aims to continue Otis Redding's legacy by providing opportunities for young creatives and fostering a sense of community.
