Unity of Springfield is organizing the 9th Annual Planet Unity Celebration on April 17-18 at 2214 E. Seminole St. in Springfield. The event, which is free and open to the public, aims to raise awareness about environmental conservation and foster community
connections through music, education, and entertainment. The celebration will commence on April 17 at 6 p.m. with live music, food, and drinks, including beer and wine. The main event on April 18 will start at 10 a.m., featuring live music, environmental talks, and presentations such as the Dickerson Park Zoo's 'Native Animals' session. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, local artisan vendors, kids' activities, crafts, and bounce houses. Eden Village will also participate, offering educational activities and selling handmade crafts. The event will include raffles, a silent auction, and door prizes every half hour.
