Ivanhoe Mines announced that its Kipushi mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo achieved a record monthly production of 25,677 tons of zinc in concentrate in May. This output surpasses the previous record set in January by 12%. The concentrators processed
72,003 tons of ore with a 93% recovery rate. The year-to-date production at Kipushi has reached 110,000 tons, aligning with the company's 2026 production guidance. Additionally, the construction of a second tailings storage facility is nearing completion, with operations expected to begin in October.
