DJ Pickett, a freshman cornerback for LSU, has been named to the SEC Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team for 2025. Pickett played in all 12 games of the season, starting twice, and recorded 30 tackles, two
sacks, and three interceptions. His performance was instrumental in LSU's defense, which led the SEC in pass efficiency. Pickett's interceptions were against Florida, Oklahoma, and Western Kentucky. He is joined by fellow LSU freshman Silas Hall, who was recognized as a long snapper. Hall participated in all 12 games, contributing to LSU's special teams unit.
