What's Happening?
The Lost Church, a popular live music venue in Santa Rosa, is set to reopen at a new location on Mendocino Avenue, a block north of its former site. The venue, which originally opened in January 2021, faced challenges due to the pandemic and permitting
issues, leading to its closure in 2024. The new location is housed in a property owned by the Unitarian Universalist Church, utilizing one of the former United Artists 5 multiplex theaters. The venue aims to provide a space for live music and community events, with a capacity of 75 and ticket prices ranging from $15 to $25. The reopening will feature a series of events starting with 'Death Medicine,' an open mic series focused on death and grief, followed by performances from various artists throughout April, May, and June.
