IHG Hotels & Resorts, a leading global hotel company, has announced the expansion of its Luxury & Lifestyle presence in Portugal with the signing of the Esperança Hotel, Vignette Collection in Braga. This new addition will be developed by converting two
existing buildings into a 58-key hotel, set to open in September 2026. The property is owned by Hotel Janes LDA and will be managed by Amazing Evolution, an independent hotel management company. This signing marks a significant milestone for IHG, bringing its total Vignette Collection portfolio in Portugal to six hotels. The Vignette Collection, launched in 2021, aims to attract 100 hotels by 2030, offering unique character and style while benefiting from IHG's enterprise.
