The Minnesota All Sports Alliance has revealed the top ten candidates for the 42nd Annual Mr. Hockey Award, which honors the best senior high school boys’ hockey player in Minnesota. The candidates include Tyden Bergeson from Moorhead, Cole Braunshausen from St. Thomas Academy, Cole Cheeseman from Holy Angels, Brock Cheslock from Rogers, Joe Erickson from Blake, Daniel Halonen from Delano, Tucker Johnson from Edina, Jayden Kurtz from Rogers, Brandon Mickelson from Moorhead, and Tate Swanson from Hibbing. Additionally, Tyler Bacon, Bryce Francisco, and Chase Jerdee are finalists for the Frank Brimsek Award, recognizing the state's top senior goaltender. The awards ceremony will take place on March 8 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre, hosted by Katie
Storm. The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Wild and organized by the Minnesota All Sports Alliance.
