What's Happening?
Alex Kirylo, a student-athlete from Chapin, has been nominated as a Scholar Athlete by the Atkins Law Firm. Kirylo, who plays basketball and football for the Gators, was named all-region last season and has received several Division 2 offers. Academically, he maintains a 4.48 GPA while taking dual enrollment, AP, and honors classes. He is also a member of the inaugural River Bluff Student-Athlete advisory council. In addition to his school commitments, Kirylo is active in his church and participates in community service, helping to gather supplies for underprivileged children. The Scholar Athlete program by Atkins Law Firm aims to recognize exceptional student-athletes across the Midlands, with nominees eligible for a $2,500 scholarship to be awarded
at the end of the season.
