The University of Illinois is set to install the largest video board ever used in a college football stadium at Gies Memorial Stadium. The new board will measure approximately 69 feet by 250 feet, covering
over 17,300 square feet. This installation surpasses the size of video boards used by 27 NFL teams and is only slightly smaller than the largest MLB video board at Citi Field. The project includes additional LED displays and is part of a broader stadium upgrade funded by a $100 million donation from alumnus Larry Gies.
