FilmScene, a nonprofit movie theater in Iowa City, is hosting the inaugural Aquí y Allá Latin American Film Festival from May 1-3. This event marks Iowa's second dedicated Latin American film festival, following the Des Moines Latino Film Festival. The
festival will feature six new feature films, one short film, and one repertory title, all screened over three days.
