The Southern Section high school boys volleyball playoffs are underway, with several teams advancing to the quarterfinals. In Division 1, Mira Costa defeated Tesoro, Huntington Beach overcame Corona del Mar, Loyola triumphed over Newport Harbor, and Redondo
Union narrowly beat Santa Margarita. Division 2 saw victories for Orange Lutheran, St. Margaret’s, Camarillo, and Edison. The playoffs continue with matches scheduled across various divisions, including Division 3's Valencia at Palos Verdes and Division 4's Chino Hills at Village Christian. The semifinals for all divisions are set for May 9, with finals scheduled for May 15-16.
