The Cannes Film Festival has announced the addition of 16 new films to its lineup, including the gothic horror movie 'Victorian Psycho' by Zachary Wigon. This announcement follows the inclusion of James Gray's 'Paper Tiger' in the competition section.
The festival, which opens on May 12 with Pierre Salvadori's 'The Electric Kiss,' will feature a variety of films across different sections such as Competition, Un Certain Regard, and Cannes Premiere. Notable entries include Laetitia Masson's 'Ulysse,' which will close the Un Certain Regard section, and Maria Martinez Bayona's 'The End of It' in the Cannes Premiere section. The festival will also honor filmmaker Peter Jackson and actor/filmmaker Barbra Streisand with honorary Palme d'Ors. The competition jury will be led by Park Chan-wook, with French actress Leïla Bekhti heading the Un Certain Regard jury.
