The mid-mast configuration, measuring 1.2 meters, enhances environmental visibility in high-traffic areas by elevating the scanner above floor-level activity. The full-mast configuration, at 1.6 meters, offers the highest scanning position for maximum visibility and navigation robustness in larger, visually complex operations.
