Vistance Networks, formerly known as CommScope, has announced the sale of its Ruckus Networks unit to Belden for $1.84 billion in cash. This move is part of a broader strategy to streamline operations following the company's previous divestitures, including
the sale of its Outdoor Wireless Networks and Connectivity & Cable Solutions units to Amphenol. The sale of Ruckus, which specializes in campus switching and enterprise-class Wi-Fi technology, is expected to close in the second half of 2026. Vistance will retain Aurora Networks, focusing on cable and PON access network hardware and software.
