What's Happening?
The Bluewater Area Woodturners, in collaboration with Port Huron Museums, is organizing a beginner-friendly woodturning workshop on May 30 at the Fort Gratiot Light Station in Port Huron. The workshop aims to introduce participants to the craft of woodturning,
offering one-on-one instruction to create small projects like pens using a lathe. The event is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience, with all materials and safety equipment supplied. Sessions are limited to five participants to ensure personalized guidance. Tickets are priced at $30 for museum members and $35 for general admission, with advance registration required.
