Neesha Hothi has been appointed as the new executive director of 5X Fest, a prominent South Asian arts organization and music festival in Surrey, B.C. Hothi, who has been involved with the organization since its inception, succeeds Harpo Mander. Her appointment is expected to focus on expanding the festival's reach and promoting Punjabi culture both in Canada and globally. 5X Fest, formerly known as the City of Bhangra festival, is one of the largest South Asian music events in the country.
