As they continued to perform, The Sugargliders' sound evolved. In 1991, they added Marc Fulker on drums, and in 1992, Robert Cooper joined on bass. These additions enriched their music, allowing them to experiment with new sounds and styles. Success and Recognition
The Sugargliders' hard work paid off when they signed with Summershine Records in 1990. They released several singles, including "Sway" and "Furlough/Give Me Some Confidence," which received positive reviews. In 1992, The Sugargliders toured England, performing alongside other indie pop bands like Boyracer and Heavenly.
