Shruti Seth reflects on her collaboration with Aamir Khan and Kajol
During a conversation with Hindi Rush, Shruti Seth expressed, "I want to acknowledge Kunal Kohli for envisioning me as Fatty (Fatima Ali). I believe the scene's quality is a result of all the actors involved. We all contribute to enhancing a scene, and for that, I credit Aamir (Khan). For me, sharing the screen with Aamir and Kajol was a 'wow' moment, mughe do aise top notch actors ke sath kaam karne ka mauka mil raha hai. But unhone kabhi aisa mehsoos nahi karvaya ki mai Aamir hoon ya Kajol hoon (I’m getting the chance to work with such exceptional actors, but they never made me feel like I’m Aamir or I’m Kajol). I believe that as genuine actors, we are always committed to ensuring our scene stands out. I think ye baat unhe pata thi toh (I think they were all aware of this). We made it a point to rehearse together. That’s the hallmark of a great actor."

"I consider myself fortunate to have had such an incredible setup," she remarked.
Seth went on to recount an instance when she corrected Aamir Khan's dialogue during a scene, "Mai Farida ji (Farida Jalal) ko unki lines yaad dilati thi toh vo mughe kehti thi 'ek din jab tum kisi bade actor ke samne aise bol dogi toh bahaut maar khaogi.' And I remember mai ek scene rehearse kar rahi thi toh usme maine Aamir ko keh diya 'nahi nahi ye nahi aapki ye line hai' toh Aamir said 'oh yeah right!' (I used to remind Farida ji (Farida Jalal) of her lines, and she would tell me, 'One day, when you say this in front of a major actor, you’re going to get a serious reprimand.' And I recall, during a rehearsal for a scene, I told Aamir, 'No, no, that’s not your line, this is your line,' and Aamir replied, 'Oh yeah, right!')."
"However, Aamir was such a laid-back actor, and it was truly enjoyable to be on set with him," she concluded.
