star Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi is already making waves ahead of its big summer release. The first single, Chikri Chikri, composed by AR Rahman, turned into an instant chartbuster, garnering massive views across languages. While fans have been recreating the viral hook step from the song and positing them on social media, many assumed choreographer Jani Master designed it. However, in a recent television appearance, the celebrated choreographer revealed a surprising detail about who actually came up with the bat-step.

Peddi's Chikri Chikri has crossed over 160 million views in Telugu alone and more than 250 million views across all languages, turning into a social media sensation. Fans particularly loved the energetic hook step, popularly referred to as the bat step. Appearing on the dance show Aata on ZEE Telugu, Jani Master shared a behind-the-scenes and revealed that the viral bat step was actually Ram Charan’s idea. As per Jani Master, the actor conceptualised the hook step himself during discussions for the song. Despite creating the move, Ram Charan chose not to take credit and let the praise go to the choreographer. Mega Fans are thrilled and, praising Ram Charan not only for his creativity in designing the viral step but also for his humble attitude.
Ram Charan’s Peddi, initially scheduled for release on March 27, has been postponed as the team opted to complete pending portions of the film without rushing. Another factor behind the delay is the strong box office presence of Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, releasing on March 19. As per reports, the makers of Peddi chose to avoid a clash during its crucial opening weekend.
