Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s funeral will be held tomorrow evening at Shivaji Park. The queen of indipop passed away this morning (April 12) due to multiple organ failure. She was 92 and breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Her mortal remains have been kept at her residence in Mumbai’s Lower Parel area for people to pay their last respects. Since the funeral will happen at Shivaji Park, many fans are expected to attend. Amidst all, Asha Tai's son Anand Bhosle interacted with media and asked people not to gather at the funeral venue. He also revealed the time for antim darshan (last darshan).
No crowds at Asha Bhosle funeral
While interacting with media, Anand Bhosle said that they have allowed people to come and take the singer's last darshan from 10:30 am to 2 pm at her residence in Lower Parel, Mumbai. He appeared in front of the media with politician Ashish Shelar. In a statement, Anand Bhosle said, “Tomorrow, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, people can come and take the last darshan of my mother at the Casa Grande building. At 4 pm, her last rites will be performed at the crematorium.
