Amid this, Jisoo attended the prestigious Cannes International Series Festival 2026 to accept the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award, where she was recognised for the global popularity of her acting projects like Newtopia and Boyfriend on Demand. After accepting the award, Jisoo gave a speech where she thanks her fans for the love and support.

On April 23, Blackpink's Jisoo was seen appearing on the pink carpet for the opening day of the Cannes International Series Festival 2026. She wore a beautiful pink-coloured floor-length off-shoulder gown, looking like a princess. She gives her acceptance speech for the Rising Star Award. Notably, Jisoo becomes the first Asian and Korean actress to receive the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award.
Accepting the award, Jisoo said that she wanted to show everyone a new side of her through various activities. Expressing her happiness, she said that she is delighted to have the support. "I learned a lot of new things and received help from many people in these various projects. I won’t forget your support and I’ll do my best to show you a better side of me," she said.
