The source further told the portal that Huma might have an intimate wedding party, followed by a reception for the film industry. The actress' wedding might only have her close friend and family members in attendance. However, the reception is expected to be grand and likely to be held in Mumbai.Earlier, the same publication reported that Rachit proposed to Huma in an intimate proposal. Their engagement was apparently a close-knit affair, which took place in the United States of America.

Rachit made his big screen acting debut with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's Thamma in 2026. After watching the horror comedy, Huma penned a special note for her rumoured partner. Taking to her Instagram stories, Huma stated she was proud of Rachit's journey, highlighting that he came from Banaras to Mumbai with nothing. She added that Singh worked hard as an acting coach, who taught and built a community around him.
"And today is the first time you will be seen on the big screen in Thamma . One of the biggest films of the year," she added. Huma mentioned that Thamma was a testament to his hard work and resilience. The actress also stated that more things would follow for Rachit after the horror comedy released.
