31 October, director Abishan Jeevinth, who helmed the blockbuster film Tourist Family, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Akhila Ilangovan. The wedding took place at Hanu Reddy Boathouse Garden in Chennai, in the presence of family and close friends.

Prior to the wedding, a grand reception was held on Thursday at the Green Park Hotel. Several celebrities from the Tamil film industry, including Sasikumar, Sivakarthikeyan, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Simran, Anaswara Rajan, producers Rajasekar Karpurasundarapandian (2D Entertainment), Soundarya Rajinikanth, Mahesh Raj Basilian, Arun Vishwa, and Shineesh, were present.Directors Poo Sasi, Ranjith Jayakodi, Shanmugapriyan, Prabhu Ram Vyas and music composer Sean Roldan were also spotted.

After debuting as a director, Abishan, who played a small role in Tourist Family, is set to make his full-fledged acting debut with a film directed by Madhan. Anaswara Rajan is starring alongside Abishan in the film. Soundarya Rajinikanth and MRP Entertainment are presenting the film, while Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian are producing it. The film has Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer and Sean Roldan as its composer. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical digital rights of the film.

Back in April, ahead of the release of Tourist Family, at the film's pre-release event, Abishan Jeevinth proposed marriage to Akila and expressed his gratitude to her for staying patient to achieve his dream of directing a film.Director Abhishan Jeevinth, is now all set to play the lead in director Madhan's upcoming film. Having appeared in a cameo in his own film, Abhishan's film will see him opposite Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan. Now. even before the release, the film's streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. A post by the makers revealed that Abishan Jeevith's PRNO04 has been bagged by popular platform.
