actress Rani Mukerji is currently making headlines for her recently released crime thriller, Mardaani 3, the third installment in the Mardaani film series. She recently appeared for an exclusive chat where she spoke about Yash Chopra, filmmaker and her father in law. She associated him with her daughter Adira, calling her his 'reincarnation'. The actress further explained her childhood fondness with his films while not realising she'll be his daughter-in-law.

In an exclusive chat with Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar, Rani Mukerji spoke about the late Yash Chopra, one of the legendary filmmakers of Bollywood and associated her daughter with him. She said, "I've had the privilege of getting a lot of love from him. The only thing I feel really bad about is that he couldn't meet my daughter. But somewhere down the line I do feel that Adira is reincarnation of Yash uncle, she is very much like him."

Further into the conversation, Rani gave her thoughts on her being Yash Chopra's daughter-in-law. She mentioned that never in her 'wildest-dreams' she had thought that. She added, "For me its so surreal because I have grown up watching Yash Chopra films and being a die-heart fan."Take a look at the interview below:

During the interview, she also shared that Adira refers to her as an older sister and even gives her fashion advice. Rani stated that Adira loves singing and is learning classical English music. Her love of singing has been passed down from her grandmothers.

Mardaani 3 on OTT

While Mardaani 3 is currently playing in cinemas, it will eventually land on streaming. The YRF movie will premiere on Netflix after its theatrical run ends. Having said that, the makers haven't announced Rani-starrer Mardaani 3's official OTT release date yet.
