In an update that left many heartbroken, the idol announced that he was parting ways with the band and agency SM Entertainment. The news was confirmed by the label, which said it was a decision made by mutual consent. With the departure, he has also left subunits NCT 127 and NCT Dream. The reason he chose not to renew his contract with the management company is still unknown. Amid the mixed reactions and fan pleas for a comeback, the singer has shared a message for his admirers. Mark Quits NCT After Ten YearsIn an official statement last week, Mark said that he wanted to live his life with gratitude toward SM, the NCT members, and NCTzen. He promised that when he returned as a new version of himself, he would try his best to show a better side of himself.He shared that over the past 10 years, he had experienced many stages and memories. But amidst the fame, he also thought about what his best life could be as Mark. He revealed that he had talked a lot with the members about his decision and they had fully supported him.
