Hina Khan On Finding Beauty Within Oneself

In our exclusive chat with Hina Khan, she revealed how special the moment was when she won the Beauty with a Purpose category. “As I mentioned, what life has thrown at me, I made sure that I love each and every version, I became, and I’m so proud of it”, she said.

When asked about how the standards of beauty have changed, Hina remarked on how one should feel loved and beautiful from within. “In your skin, the way you look, you’re gorgeous, you’re beautiful”, she emphasised, mentioning how she felt it within as well.

Finding Love In Your True Version

During our chat, at the Femina Beauty Awards, the actress revealed how she felt truly beautiful in her journey when shaving her head off. Hina wanted to put her perception in a way that’s not sadistic. She says, it was achieved “When I made my parents believe that I am still pretty, and I am still beautiful, and they believed it, they believed that version of me, and they loved me.” This truly captured the essence of loving yourself and spreading it to people around you. “I did not have to hide my scalp, I did not have to cover my head. I just felt loved, exactly the way I was loved before,” she reflected.

Hina’s Battle With Cancer

In June 2024, Hina announced that she is battling cancer. The actress continued to document her journey with all the medical procedures with resilience. She received love and praise from her fans and well-wishers for her remarkable effort to raise awareness and educate people about her outlook. This very nature of Hina Khan reflected how she felt beautiful, with no cause for insecurity, and purposefully leading the audience with her.
