Dhurandhar fever has gripped the nation. The Indian cricket team, amid preparation for the upcoming match with South Africa on December 17, took some time out to watch the Ranveer Singh-headlined spy thriller. The cricketers watched the film in Lucknow.

Dhurandhar, Sanjeev Sarin, the regional director of the mall, shared with
Hindustan Times, “We had booked the entire Audi No 10 for them as it’s about our star players, and we have so many protocols to abide by for their safety and comfort. So, it was just the players and the support staff who watched this particular show. It was a delight to host the champion team in Lucknow. The total strength of the contingent was 40 members."

Amid the success of
Dhurandhar, Ranveer reacted on Instagram Story. He wrote, “Kismat ki ek bohut khoobsurat aadat hai, ki woh waqt aane par badalti hai...Lekin filhal... Nazar aur sab.”
Dhurandhar is a two-part film. The next installment is arriving in theatres on March 19, 2026. The first film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, among others. It released in theatres on December 5.
Dhurandhar follows the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, a young, mysterious man, who joins Rehman Dakait’s gang, but with an ulterior motive. He marries the daughter of an influential Pakistani politician for a reason. It is revealed that Hamza is India’s spy in Pakistan who enters the underworld to leak details of their activities.
