Here's a complete guide.Aadhaar Updates Now Fully OnlineUnder the revised system, individuals can now update their demographic details online- including name, address, date of birth, and mobile number, through the myAadhaar portal.The portal now cross-verifies your information with other government databases such as PAN or passport, meaning there’s less need for uploading multiple documents or visiting Aadhaar centres for verification.However, for biometric updates such as fingerprints, iris scans and photographs, users will still need to visit an authorised Aadhaar Seva Kendra.Updated Aadhaar Fee StructureUIDAI has also introduced a revised fee structure for various types of Aadhaar updates:Rs 75 for demographic changes (like name, address, or date of birth)Rs 125 for biometric updatesFree Online Document Updates Until June 14, 2026Additionally, children aged 5–7 years and 15–17 years will be eligible for free biometric updates, making it easier for parents to keep their child’s Aadhaar details current.Aadhaar-PAN Linking Deadline Set For December 31, 2025The UIDAI has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar with PAN by December 31, 2025.
