Dhar is basking in the massive success of Dhurandhar 2 as the film is breaking each and every box office record with every passing day. However, amid the celebrations, director Vivek Agnihotri has offered some 'unsolicited' but noteworthy advice to the director. Praising the film and its technical brilliance, Vivek said something Aditya might want to note - he talked about the importance of staying mindful of the film industry’s ecosystem, calling it both 'vicious and seductive.' The Kashmir Files director also shed light on the lesser-celebrated crafts of the film.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vivek Agnihotri shared a detailed note applauding Dhurandhar: The Revenge and its team. He revealed that he made a special trip from California to Los Angeles just to watch the film, underlining how highly he regarded the project. Calling the film “brilliant once again,” Vivek refrained from overanalysing it, stating that the work speaks for itself and he world 'rather call' Dhar.

The filmmaker, however, went beyond general praise and gave spotlight two often underappreciated aspects of filmmaking - cinematography and production design. He specifically lauded cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha and production designer Saini S Johray for their “world-class” and “groundbreaking” work. According to Vivek, the synergy between these two crafts elevated Dhurandhar 2 into a cinematic masterpiece, setting a benchmark for future films. He also stressed on the fact that in cinema, the camera and production design must work in complete harmony to achieve greatness, and in Dhurandhar 2, that balance was executed flawlessly. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role as Hamza Ali Mazari aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi, the spy thriller has shattered multiple records within days of release. The film has surpassed the lifetime collection of its predecessor Dhurandhar in just 11 days. The film has also surpassed Baahubali 2's record to become highest grossing film in North America.According to the latest trade reports, the film has amassed a staggering Rs 846.87 crore in India alone. In doing so, it has overtaken the Hindi version record of Pushpa 2, which stood at Ra 812 crore. Additionally, it has crossed the original Dhurandhar’s lifetime domestic collection of Rs 840.20 crore, going past the OG film released in December 2025. With both critical acclaim and commercial success on its side, Dhurandhar 2 has emerged as one of the biggest hits in recent times.
