Telugu superstar Prabhas announced his new film Fauzi on his 46th birthday on 23rd October, marking his first collaboration with director Hanu Raghavapudi. The filmmaker also shared Prabhas; character

poster with the caption, "FAUZI - The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history.” The film will also mark the debut of content creator Imanvi. Adding to the excitement, Hanu Raghavapudi, revealed key details about Prabhas and Imanvi's roles in the film.

Hanu Raghavapudi, who is known to script heart-touching love stories with films such as Andala Rakshasi and Sita Ramam spoke about the uniqueness of Prabhas and Imanvi's love track in the film. He said "The love stories in my previous films got all the love from the audiences...in Fauzi...there is an unusual love story backed by a strong emotional plot that is sure to move you. The chemistry between Prabhas and Imanvi will win you over."Talking about Imanvi's first Telugu project he said "she hails from LA, and she comes from a simple, background. I request everyone to avoid falling for misinformation about her, and give her a warm welcome, as she steps into the world of films."

Earlier this year, Imanvi slammed baseless allegations about her. She posted “What is especially disappointing is that legitimate news outlets, journalists and those on social media failed to investigate their source material and instead have simply repeated these slanderous statements.” In the post, she further added, “I am a proud Indian American who speaks Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati and English. I was born in Los Angeles, California after my parents legally immigrated to the United States as youth.”

Interestingly, Kannada actress Chaithra will also be seen in a key role. Sharing the title announcement poster on Instagram, Chaithra wrote, “Happy to be part of this beautiful creation of @hanurpudi sir. EXCITED!!! #PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history Happy Birthday, Rebel Star #Prabhas.”

With Imanvi as the female lead, the film features an ensemble cast including Mithun Chakraborty, Jayaprada, Anupam Kher and Bhanu Chander in important roles.Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, the film also brings together Sudeep Chatterjee handling the cinematography and Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the music.
