Instead of asking you to repeatedly upload the same documents, future Aadhaar updates will rely more on automatic verification by cross-checking your details with databases, like PAN, passport, ration card, and more. They’re even preparing to accept utility bills, like electricity bills, as valid proof of address, which should make life easier for anyone who doesn’t have traditional address documents handy. On top of that, the all-new Aadhaar app now gives you a safer digital Aadhaar with QR-based verification, meaning fewer photocopies to carry around and fewer chances of misplacing them.ALSO READ: New Aadhaar App Launched: Check How To Download On iOS And Android, All Features And MoreHow To Update Aadhaar Details OnlineIf you prefer doing things yourself instead of standing in queues, the Self-Service Update Portal (SSUP) is your best bet.
