OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has been having nightmares due to the prowess of Google Gemini, and why not, as the model has thrown ChatGPT out of the ring in a few months. Due to this, Altman declared Code Red at OpenAI and skyrocketed the pace of work on new models, which is why we could get to see ChatGPT 5.2 this week itself. As per The Wall Street Journal, OpenAI is all set to drop the ChatGPT 5.2 AI model this week, and it could bring coding and enterprise-focused upgrades this year to the table. The model is being released at lightning speed, even after some officials asked for an extension in the release timeline to further enhance the same. However, what comes as a surprise is that the Code Red situation at OpenAI is not going to conclude after the launch
of their latest GPT model. Sam Altman, in a lunch meeting with some journalists in New York, reportedly said that the company is planning to drop another model after ChatGPT 5.2 with improved image generation and a decent personality. The second model will also have low latency as compared to the base model. As for the Code Red, it will end for OpenAI with the launch and success of the second model from the firm. Also Read: OpenAI VP Says No Ads Running On ChatGPT: Alleged Screenshots Are Fake
