Leela Bhansali's Love and War is one of the most-anticipated releases of 2026. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the film's shoot has been going on for a while now. The movie was reportedly initially set for a theatrical release in March 2026. However, a new media report suggests that there's no official update on the fresh release date yet. Having said that, the makers are apparently planning to drop the first glimpse of Love and War in January 2026. Through leaked pictures, the audience has already witnessed Ranbir and Alia's looks in the film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly planning to unveil the first glimpse in January 2026. "The idea always was that the team will put out an asset in January to tease the audience about the world they have in store. It could be an official poster or images from the set, which Bhansali has meticulously created. The audience has already seen the actors’ avatars through leaked pictures. But now, the director wants people to see his vision of Love and War," a source told Mid-Day.And while the first promotional asset is likely to be out next month, there's no update when Love and War release in theatres. That said, the shoot of the film will reportedly wrap soon."A few days ago, Alia shot for a wedding sequence with Ranbir in Mumbai. Now, she has only the climax left to shoot with the leads, after which it will be a wrap for her. The male leads, however, will continue to shoot for another six weeks," the source added.

Meanwhile, Ranbir will reunite with Alia after Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The actor will also be seen with Vicky after Sanju.
