Blackpink member and APT hitmaker Rosé is set to become the first K-pop soloist to perform at the Grammys. She will be joining the star-studded line-up of performers at the upcoming 2026 Grammy Awards,
adding another feather to her cap. These include global pop stars like Lady Gaga, Alex Warren, Justin Bieber, KATSEYE, Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, Reba McEntire, Sabrina Carpenter, and more. Rosé is also a first-time nominee at the Grammys. She is vying for three awards as a solo artist, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, all for her record smashing hit APT performed with Bruno Mars. APT released on October 18, 2024 as the lead single from her debut studio album Rosie, and went on to become a massive success, becoming the fastest song by an Asian act to surpass 300 million streams on YouTube Music.
Rosé on triple Grammy nominations
Speaking about the potential to make history at the Grammys with the track, Rosé earlier told The Hollywood Reporter, "I’m getting chills right now.""I think it’ll be a moment that proves to myself so many things that I grew up doubting. I think if this happens, then it’s going to mean more to so many more people than myself. It’ll just prove a lot in me as well. It’ll just be a moment of celebration for everyone who believes," she added.
APT's success
APT is characterised by its pop-punk, indie rock, and new wave sound, is inspired by the popular South Korean "apartment" drinking game. Last year, Rosé also won the Song of the Year trophy at the MTV VMA Awards for
APT. It also spent 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album
Rosie, released in December 2024 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.The 2026 Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place on February 1, 2026 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. It'll stream live via Paramount+.
Blackpink and DEADLINE
Meanwhile, Rosé is also gearing up to release her new mini-album
DEADLINE along with her Blackpink bandmates Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie. The concerts, which started on July 5, 2025, at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, concluded on January 26, 2026, at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, after 33 sold-out stadium shows worldwide over a successful seven-month run.
