Lock Upp is coming back after a gap of four years. The controversial reality show, which debuted its first season under the title Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel, was hosted by Kangana Ranaut. The makers have now announced its return with a brand new edition, a new streaming home and a fresh batch of contestants ready to compete under one roof. Lock Upp Season 1 released in 2022 and streamed on ALTBalaji and MX Player. It soon went on to become the most talked about reality shows in India then. This time, the franchise is moving to Netflix for a much wider global platform for the series.On June 9, reality TV fans received the announcement that Lock Upp Season 2's has cloked its premiere date on Netflix on June 27.

They have to tackle tasks, build alliances, fight enemies and frequently reveal personal secrets to not get eliminated.
