every week due to its ongoing track. Recently, Ravjeet Singh has entered the show as Dr Mohit. He is playing an important role and will be shaping the narrative of the show in the upcoming episodes. Zoom/Telly Talk India exclusively had a conversation with Ravjeet and asked him about the reason behind choosing the character in Tumm Se Tumm Tak.
Ravjeet Singh On Choosing Tumm Se Tumm Tak
During a candid conversation with us, we asked Ravjeet Singh a reason behind choosing the role of Dr Mohit in Tumm Se Tumm Tak. The actor said, “As an actor, playing different characters is very important. With Mohit, I get a chance to explore the soft and empathetic side of my personality.”
Ravjeet Singh has earlier worked in several TV shows, such as Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi. He joined Tumm Se Tumm Tak midway as a supporting character. When asked if he was apprehensive about taking up the role, the actor said, “There was no apprehension at all, as I get to be part of a great show which is being loved by the audience, and being on set is a joy, as the cast members and the entire team are great and made me feel at home since day one. So I did make the right decision. And I have always felt it is more impactful for any character to have an impact in the story, even though it's brief.”
Ravjeet Singh On TV Actors Being Typecast In Film Industry
Ravjeet Singh has also acted in films, such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sardar Ka Grandson, Sharmaji Ki Beti and Simmba. When asked about TV actors getting typecast in the film industry, the handsome hunk said, “After working in films and TV shows, I feel mediums don't matter to the actor until he is honest with his work. You see a lot of actors transitioning from TV to films, and they are doing great work. Playing important characters and leaving an impact with your work is appreciated by everyone.” Coming back to Tumm Se Tumm Tak, the show is the adaptation of a Marathi show, Tula Pahate Re. It marks Sharad Kelkar’s comeback to TV after many years.
