Aasif Sheikh And Salman Khan’s Friendship
Aasif Sheikh and Salman Khan have been close friends of each other since the debut of the Bollywood superstar in 1988. In one of the earlier interviews, the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actor had revealed that they have been friends since the release of Salman’s first film, Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, and his film, Yaara Dildaara (1991). For the unversed, Aasif made his Bollywood debut with Rama O Rama in 1988. After the release of Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Salman Khan became an overnight star, but Aasif kept struggling to make his mark in show business as the lead actor. The TV actor had once confessed that Salman Khan helped him get a couple of good films when he was going through a very rough phase of his career.
Aasif admitted that Salman and he don’t meet each other often, but whenever they bump into each other, they are on the same page. The Karan Arjun star is fond of Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan. According to him, the Sholay writer loves him a lot.

Aasif Sheikh started his acting career in 1984 with the TV show Hum Log. He has acted in shows like Yug, Tanha, Yes Boss, Muskaan, Gul Sanobar, Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Hassi Woh Phassi, Miilee, CID, Dill Mill Gayye, Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai, Ring Wrong Ring and so on.
Aasif has also acted in several big Bollywood films back in the 90s and 2000s. Coming back to his latest film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun On The Run also stars Rohitashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari and others in key roles. The film has been directed by Shashank Bali.
