Watermelon actress Shin Eun-Soo is dating Yoo Seon-Ho. The two confirmed the news through their agencies almost simultaneously leaving fans both shocked and elated. On January 29, rumours started doing the rounds about Shin and Yoo's relationship. According to an exclusive report by Newsen, Yoo and Shin have been dating since December 2025, even though the two artists have never collaborated professionally, or shared the screen together. They are said to have met through mutual acquaintances that led to a friendship which soon turned into a romantic bond. While Shin Eun-Soo was last seen in Love Untangled, Yoo Seon-Ho recently appeared in Oh My Ghost Clients, both in 2025.

Newsen quoted an insider stating, "The two are early in their relationship and are a pretty couple who are in a typical relationship, enjoying dates together just like any other couple in their 20s despite their busy schedules."Soon after Newsen's report, Shin Eun-Soo's label Management SOOP and Yu Seon-Ho's label Hiin Entertainment confirmed their relationship. In a joint statement, the companies said, "It's true that they are dating."

On the work front, Shin Eun-Soo made her acting debut in 2016 with the film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned. Her other projects include The Legend of the Blue Sea, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Summer Strike, A Model Family and Light Shop. She also hosted Inkigayo in 2019 with SEVENTEEN's Mingyu.

Shin was one of the leads in 2023 hits Twinkling Watermelon where she played a deaf school girl Yoon Chung-Ah who's cold and isolated girl. Seol In-Ah as Choi Se-Kyung is her only friend. Shin is paired opposite actor Choi Hyun-Wook who portrays Ha Yi-Chan, and appears when Ryeoun's Ha Eun-Gyeol travels back in time and meets his parents as a teenager. Shin played the younger version of his mother, who received praise for her sensitive portrayal of an impaired girl.

Meanwhile, Yoo Seon-Ho first appeared on broadcast Produce 101 Season 2 and finished 17th. He then turned to acting, and appeared in K-dramas like Rebel Detectives, Doctor Lawyer, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract and Under the Queen’s. He was also seen in variety show 2 Days & 1 Night.Yoo played one of the victims and clients of Jung Kyung-Ho, a labour attorney who can see spirits in Oh My Ghost Clients.
