Prakash and Karan Kundrra have finally taken their relationship to the next stage. Putting years of speculation to an end, the couple got engaged in Dubai and the dreamy proposal became a part of the newly released Netflix reality show, Desi Bling. Karan popped the big question, leaving Tejasswi emotional. Amid chatter of a staged and scripted proposal, Rajiv Adatia confirmed that the internet’s beloved pair, TejRan, are now moving towards marriage. They got engaged a couple of months ago, but the news broke with the premiere of Desi Bling on May 20.

Rajiv shared a screenshot from his video call with Karan and Tejasswi after the proposal. The actress flaunted her diamond ring on camera. As indicated by Rajiv, the couple called him late at night, leaving him surprised. “The love story that annoyed the crap of me in BB finally you getting married! Sooo happy for you guys,” he wrote, further adding that his predictions always come true. He concluded his note by writing, “Also predicted twins!”

Proposal on Desi Bling

In one of the episodes of Desi Bling, Karan decorated the proposal venue beautifully and asked her ‘Will You Marry Me?’ The actor went down on his knee and proposed marriage. Tejasswi got emotional and said, “I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop.” Prior to this, TejRan kept the news of the proposal under wraps.

Karan and Tejasswi, popular actors in the Indian entertainment industry, grew close during their Bigg Boss 15 participation. They started dating in 2022. Their families are extremely fond of each other and the actors are often seen celebrating special days, festivals and important occasions together.

After the episode of Desi Bling premiered, his fans are circling back to an old tweet shared on April 11, 2025, where he denied engagement rumours with Tejasswi. The actor called out rumours and said, “I’m sick of you marrying me off this year or next, announcing my engagement on a reality show, just coz we’re in Dubai.” He requested people to call either him or his manager to verify the news before circulating rumours. “Abhi thoda zyaada ho ra hai nai??? Meri shaadi/engagement/roka/bacha/breakup/midlife crisis mein khud announce kar loon,” he further wrote. Tejasswi, 32, and Karan, 41, were the finalists of Bigg Boss 15. The former won the show, defeating Pratik Sehajpal. Workwise, she was last seen in Naagin 7. Karan hosted MTV Splitsvilla Season 16 with Sunny Leone.
