Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. The period love story is scheduled for a 2026 release. The set for the same has been erected in Mumbai and the celebrity couple was spotted exclusively by Zoom today (December 6).

In pictures accessed by Zoom from Love And War’s set in Mumbai, Ranbir and Alia were dressed in Western formals. Bringing the retro Bollywood era back to cinema, the actress looked stunning in a cross-strap neck dress with frilled hem. With her hair done in a messy vintage bun, she reminded us of actresses from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Ranbir was seen in a suit, flaunting his moustache.

About Love And War

Love And War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was earlier scheduled to release on March 20, 2026. However, reports claim that the film is yet to wrap and the release date might get pushed to the second half of next year. A source told Bollywood Hungama, "It's a blessing in disguise, as it made no sense for two Pan-Indian films to clash on the same date. Love And War is running much behind its shooting schedule, and will now release in the second half of 2026. Around 75 days of shoot still remains, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has requested Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal to allot bulk dates till Summer 2026 to wrap up the film." As per reports, the climax of Love And War requires an Italian 1970s aesthetic. After wrapping the shoot in Mumbai, the actors will reportedly fly to Italy this month to film key sequences. Vicky Kaushal, who also stars with Ranbir and Alia, revealed at Yuvaa Conclave with whom he gossips the most. With a grin, he replied, “Sabse zyada gossip kiske saath hoti hai?
