Badshah found himself in trouble after his nightclub was sealed in Chandigarh. On June 2, the Chandigarh administration sealed the nightclub due to alleged unauthorised constructions and violations of building norms. The nightclub named SAGO is located in Sector 26. This decision is said to be a part of the administration's ongoing crackdown on nightlife establishments in the same sector. It has been reported that similar action was taken against two to three other nightclubs in the same area. The action on Badshah's SAGO was carried out by the Enforcement wing of the Chandigarh administration.

India Today quoted officials from the Estate Office stating that large scale unauthorised constructions were found on the ground floor and second floor of the premises. This reportedly included construction of the toilets and kitchens, creation of partitions and cabins cold storage, and more. Alterations to the sanctioned building plan, changes to rare elevation to the building and installation of tin sheds and storage areas were also said to be included.
On April 25, a show-cause notice was reportedly sent to the establishment. The notice apparently directed the establishment to explain removal and regularisation of unauthorised structures and alleged violations. Despite that, the violations didn't seem to be rectified or approval. This led the authorities to seal the premises.During inspection and scrutiny of the nightclub, the authorities allegedly found compliance-related deficiencies. That said, notices are rumoured to be have sent to more establishments as well. The further action is likely to be decided depending on the outcome of ongoing inspections.

Tateeree was removed from social media. 857 links related to the track were reportedly removed from social media and other platforms. On March 6, FIR was lodged in Panchkula over alleged objectionable lyrics and visuals in the music video. Following the backlash he received, the rapper apologised by sharing a video message on social media."I am from the hip-hop genre, where lyrics are often used to compete and bring down the opponent. The lyrics were never for any woman or child, nor will I ever do that," he said. The rapper added that he had always tried to take Haryana's culture and language with him wherever he could.On the personal front, Badshah got married to Isha Rikhi. Photos from their intimate wedding went viral on social media.
